I was born in Nepal and lived there until I was 8 years old. I came to Canada in December 6, 2008 and had a cultural shock because I grew up in a village my whole life with cows and goats. Growing up in Canada was nothing special, I went to school, strived to get good grades to impress my parents

My journey began in Nepal, where I grew up in a small village. I lived a simple life there with my family until I was 8 years old

our family left Nepal for Canada, my parents came to Canada to find better opportunities and a brighter future for me and my sister.
However, things didn't go as planned as Canada was nothing like the movies I saw growing up, my parents struggled to make ends meet, living paycheck to paycheck, and barely getting by.
Knowing this, I never asked my parents for a single dollar unless it was for school.
Communication was also a major obstacle as English was my second language, but I never let my circumstances dictate my future.
I got my first job at Home Depot at 16 to finally earn my own money and to help around the house. I spent a lot of my time learning valuable skills that would later help me succeed in my career.
